Google Shelving Microsoft for Linux and Mac

Microsoft’s’ Windows OS prominence is deemed to be over as Google is doing its part to shelve the ever so popular Operating System (OS) in exchange for Linux or Mac. The said move by the company can be linked to the Chinese Hacking incident early this year which caused Google dearly. In the belief of having a more secure system with Linux and Mac (OS X), the company is now pushing its new hires to either use Mac or Linux for their office computers. And maybe later on to Chrome OS (when its already viable). And if one should run through the old OS it requires the highest approval of CIO.

Google entirely blames the move to the China Hacking incident which forcibly made Google to withdraw in that country. Believing that the Microsoft OS has plenty of vulnerabilities making it prone for “hack-attack” as perceive by the China incident. In the previous year’s Google has been eyeing to match up with Microsoft products, as can be shown with its products such as Gmail, Google Docs, and Chrome. Which can be taken as a obvious take on Microsoft. As soon as Chrome OS (another straight shot for Google on Microsoft) can be available to public consumer (which is still in its developing stage) the Company aims to runs its products with their own produce.

By patronizing Linux and Mac OS’s, Google has set a new future for OS battle grounds. That is to eliminate the thought of a traditional Operating System that everyone has come to accept to and can’t live without. Microsoft Windows maybe a niche in OS’s but as Google is concerned, this won’t be long since it is determine to break that belief that’s if Chrome OS will be available in the near future.
